Is it okay for newborns to swim in salt water pools?

I just wanted to know if she was okay for newborns to swim in pools of salt water.
I got my man in my saltwater dwarf mothers at the age of 9 days as it was extremley hot weather at the time. I wouldnt be attractive to a newborn a public pool, but if it your own, I do not see why not as long as you do put them under water.
